My daughter attends a Christian School.  Above is a picture of something she wrote for school around Easter.  In her own words, she talks about the meaning of the cross.  It is simple, without pretenses, and beautiful.  Truly, God has prepared praise from the mouths of children and infants (Matt. 21:16).  Read what she wrote below or click on the photo to read her original.

“To me, the cross means that all my sins are gone.  I don’t have to remember what I did wrong anymore.  I feel bright and special.  That is what the cross means to me.”

My daughter wrote one, when she was barely able to write, about how much she loves Jesus and drew pictures of angels. When she was a teen and turned her heart away I framed it and stood in faith that her heart would return to the place she once loved. My prayer was answered. Thank you Lord, I praise you!!
