Who, Me?

“You have abandoned the love you had at first.”

“You accept other gospels.”

“You tolerate sexual immorality.”

“People say you’re alive but you’re dead.”

“You are lukewarm, self-satisfied, and complacent.”

These are things Jesus said to the churches in Revelation chapters two and three.  As I read these statements today, I thought about whether any of them applied to me and/or the church today.  And, I found myself asking the Lord to bring freedom wherever struggles with these things exist.

How do you see Jesus’s statements applying to today’s churches?

Hi Teague. I can say, for myself, that I’ve been lukewarm/complacent at times towards the Lord. Lord Jesus, help me to have a heart ablazed for You.
